1. Inspect the engine oil cooler core for leaks. If a
leak is found, replace the oil cooler core. Refer to
Disassembly and Assembly.
2. Drain the crankcase and refill the crankcase with
clean engine oil. Install new engine oil filters.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual.
Cylinder Head Gasket
1. Remove the cylinder head. Refer to Disassembly
and Assembly.
2. Check the cylinder liner projection. Refer to
Systems Operation/Testing and Adjusting.
3. Install a new cylinder head gasket and new water
seals in the spacer plate. Refer to Disassembly
and Assembly.
Water Pump
Check the weep hole in the water pump for blockage.
