1. Fasten Tooling (B) and a hoist to the engine
and the main hydraulic pump. Fasten Tooling
(C) to the main hydraulic pump and the hoist, as
shown. Use Tooling (C) in order to balance the
engine and the main hydraulic pump.
2. Position the engine and the main hydraulic pump
in the machine. The weight of the engine and the
main hydraulic pump is 635 kg (1400 lb).

3. Install two rear engine mounts (82). Install the
washers and bolts (81).
4. Make sure that rubber mounts (79) are in the
correct position in the frame.
5. Lower the engine onto the frame.
6. Install rubber mounts (78) and washer (77) on
the engine mounts.
7. Install the washers and bolts (76). Install nut
assemblies (80). Tighten the bolts to a torque of
530 ± 70 N.m (390.9 ± 51.6 lb ft).

8. Connect the heater line. Tighten hose clamp (75).
9. Connect the lower radiator hose. Tighten hose
clamp (74).

Note: Make sure that the fuel lines are connected to
the correct location.
10. Connect the fuel lines to the fuel injection pump.
Tighten hose clamps (73).
