Engine Starting
• Allow the engine to warm up for approximately 15
minutes when the temperature is higher than 0C
(32F).
• Allow the engine to warm up for approximately 30
m
in
utes or more when the temperature is below
0C (32F).
• More time may be required if the temperature is
less than 18C (0F
).
More time may also be
required if the hydraulic functions are sluggish.
Additional Low Idling Speed
Note: If the engine is running at low idle with the
parking brake ON and the engine coolant
temperature below 70 C (158.0F) for 10 minutes,
the engine speed will automatically increase to 1000
RPM. This action increases the coolant temperature
faster.
