1. Apply clean engine oil to the filter gasket.
2. Put the engine oil filter assembly (1) in position.
3. Turn the engine oil filter assembly (1) by hand
until the filter gasket makes contact with the oil
filter base.
4. Additionally tighten the engine oil filter assembly
by 3/4 of a turn.
Note: Apply 1 54-9731 Thread Lock Compound on
the last 7.6 mm (0.30 inch) of the threads of hollow
stud from taperlock end.
(2) Torque for the hollow stud ............... 81 ± 14 N·m
