Alternate Exit
SMCS Code: 7308; 7310
Machines with cabs are equipped with alternate exits.
If a door becomes disabled, the other door can be
used as an alternate exit. Release the latch and open
the door.

Seat
SMCS Code: 7312-025; 7324
Note: The operator's seat that is provided with this
machine is in compliance with the appropriate class
of ISO 7096.
Note: Adjust the air suspension seat at the beginning
of each shift and for each new operator.
Adjust the seat in order to allow full travel of the
pedals. Make the seat adjustments when the operator
is sitting against the back of the seat.

Adjustment control (2) – Press on the
appropriate side of the button in order
to move joystick support (1) forward or
backward.
Back Cushion Angle Adjustment (3) –
Pull the lever upward. Permit the back
cushion sprin
g forward or lean backward
into the cushion. Release the lever at the desired
position.
Fore and Aft P
osition (4) – Pull the lever
upward. Move the seat in the desired
direction. Release the lever at the desired
forward pos
ition or the desired rearward position.
Back Extension(5) – Pull up on back
extension (5) in order to remove the back
extension
.
Lumbar Support (6) – Rotate the knob
counterclockwise in order to increase
lumbar sup
port. Rotate the knob clockwise
in order to decrease lumbar support.
Adjustment knob (7) – Make a height
adjustme
nt to the wrist rest for comfort.
Tighten the knob in order to lock the support
arm in place.
Armrest
Adjustment Knobs (8) – Make
a height adjustment to the armrests for
comfort. Loosen the knobs and pull back
the arm
rest. Adjust the height and push the armrest
forward into position. Tighten the knobs in order to
lock the armrest in place.
Seat C
ushion Tilt (9) – The front of
the seat cushion is pinned in a groove.
Grasp the seat pan and rotate the pin
“forw
ard−up−and−back” into the steep angle
position. Grasp the seat pan and rotate the pin
“forward-down-and-back” into the nominal position.
Heat
ed Seat (10) (If equipped) – Press
the rocker switch in order to activate the
seat heater. A red light will turn ON.
Ride
Firmness (11) – Push down on the
lever in order to increase the ride firmness.
Pull up on the lever in order to decrease
the
ride firmness.
Seat Height (12) – Push in knob (12) in
order to raise the seat height. Pull out on
th
e knob in order to lower the seat height.
Note: The engine start switch key must be turned ON
or the engine must be running in order to adjust the
he
ight of the seat.
