2. Apply decel/brake pedal (1) in order to hold the

operator to the ENGAGED position.
5. Release pedal (1).
6. Use lever (5) in order to lower all attachments to
the ground and apply slight downward pressure.

Stopping the engine immediately after it has been
working under load, can result in overheating and ac-
celerated wear of the engine components.
Refer to the following procedure, to allow the engine
to cool, and to prevent excessive temperatures in the
turbocharger housing (if equipped), which could cause
oil coking problems.
1. Operate the engine for five minutes at low idle
with no load.
This allows hot areas in the engine to cool
gradually. This will extend the engine life.
2. Move all control levers into the HOLD position.
